It is the first initiative that invites all people with testicles to take a pregnancy test to detect possible testicular cancer.
You may be wondering, what does a pregnancy test have to do with these types of cancer? The answer is simple: pregnancy tests detect a hormone called beta fraction of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin in urine. This hormone is produced by embryos and by some types of testicular cancer.
It is an initiative developed by the Rebecca de Alba Foundation.
We focus on raising awareness about testicular cancer, the most common form of cancer in young men between the ages of 15 and 39. Through educational programs, conferences and informational materials, we work to raise awareness in Mexican society, promoting early detection and saving lives.
Our commitment is to bring this message to every corner of the country, empowering men to take care of their health.
